With the possibility of a second in the Kentucky Derby in 2011, Uncle Mo has an excellent chance to emerge victorious and into the winner's circle at Churchill Downs on Saturday. Uncle Mo and veterinarians reported trainer will take the final decision not to scratch him from the race Friday. Owner Mike Repole said he did not intend to take a last minute decision on Saturday but did not seem convinced Uncle Mo would be able to run in the derby

"This is not to be a decision on Saturday," he said. "We owe it to the race fans, we need the government, it is not our intention to withdraw."
